Circuit Zandvoort is the traditional home of the Dutch Grand Prix, set in the sand dunes near the North Sea coast, about 35 km west of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Opened in 1948, it first held a World Championship race in 1952 and hosted Formula 1 on and off until 1985. The Dutch Grand Prix returned in 2021 after a 36-year absence, with the revived partnership running until 2026.

The undulating lap rises and falls through the dunes and retains an old-school character. Modernisation for the return, overseen by designer Jarno Zaffelli, added banking at Turn 3, Hugenholtzbocht, and at the final corner, Arie Luyendijkbocht, while the cambered Tarzan hairpin at the end of the main straight remains its most famous corner and a key overtaking spot.

  • Returned to the calendar in 2021 after a 36-year absence.
  • Turn 3 and the final corner were banked for Formula 1's 2021 return.
  • Tarzan, the hairpin at the end of the main straight, is its most famous corner.

What to watch for: Qualifying position counts on this flowing, old-school track, with Tarzan the key overtaking spot, while coastal weather and pit-stop timing can quickly change the picture.
