Yuki Tsunoda is a Japanese driver from Sagamihara, Kanagawa, who came through both the Honda Formula Dream Project and the Red Bull Junior Team. After winning the 2018 Japanese F4 title, he raced in FIA Formula 3 and then finished third in Formula 2 with Carlin in 2020, earning the Anthoine Hubert Award as the series' best-placed rookie.
Tsunoda scored points on his Formula 1 debut for AlphaTauri in Bahrain in 2021 and recorded a career-best fourth place at that season's Abu Dhabi finale. He spent four full seasons with the Faenza team before being promoted to Red Bull Racing from the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix, his home race, and became test and reserve driver for Red Bull and Racing Bulls for 2026.
