Esteban Ocon is a French driver from Évreux in Normandy who won the 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship, finishing ahead of Max Verstappen, and the 2015 GP3 Series. A Mercedes junior, he made his Formula 1 debut with Manor at the 2016 Belgian Grand Prix, spent two seasons at Force India and served as Mercedes' reserve driver in 2019.
Ocon returned with Renault in 2020, finishing second in the Sakhir Grand Prix, and won the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, the first victory for the team under the Alpine name. He added podiums at Monaco in 2023 and São Paulo in 2024 before joining Haas for 2025, when his best result was fifth in China.
