Gabriel Lourenzo Bortoleto Oliveira is a Brazilian driver from Osasco, in São Paulo state, who won the FIA Formula 3 title with Trident in 2023 and the Formula 2 championship with Invicta Racing in 2024, both at the first attempt. A member of McLaren's driver development programme during those title-winning seasons, he is managed by Fernando Alonso's A14 Management company.
Bortoleto stepped up to Formula 1 with Sauber in 2025, becoming the first Brazilian to hold a full-time race seat since Felipe Massa in 2017. He scored 19 points in his rookie season, with a best finish of sixth at the Hungarian Grand Prix, and remained with the Hinwil team as it became Audi's works outfit for 2026.
